...August 31, 2002...

Pop Trash is starting to receive some national play. The songs "Election
Day" and "Into My Mind" have received the most favorable response.
Cities around the country / fans have reported to us when they hear
a Pop Trash song. If you hear a Pop Trash song or have a Pop Trash
citing, email us at elenerexrecords@yahoo.com so we can post it.

...August 19, 2002...

Elenerex Records is accepting unsolicited material for anyone
who might be interested. Visit the contact page to see submitting
policies. As far as musical styles accepted, we listen to anything
and everything. Our roster of artists include pop, alternative,
post-grunge, rap, techno, and acoustic americana. Feel free to
add to a category or begin a new one.

...August 14, 2002...

Elenerex Records has signed a tentative developement deal with
recording artist, Fat K. He is a rapper from Indiana. Once again,
no official deal has been signed, only a developemental deal.
Such a deal encompasses the creative process and demo
recording of said material. After which point, if Elenerex likes
what they hear, an album will follow.

...August 2, 2002...

Elenerex Records releasing "TRACKING CONTRADICTION" (the
debut album from Pop Trash) and "ELECTION DAY : the singles"
(a compilation album for the film of the same name).

...July 12, 2002...

Make it 2 for 2! Elenerex Records will have their second
release on the August 2nd as well. First, as previously reported,
Pop Trash's "TRACKING CONTRADICTION" will be released. Also,
Elenerex Records will release for Meeker & Co. Productions' film
"ELECTION DAY" a 3-song album called
"ELECTION DAY : the singles". The singles will include Pop Trash's
'Election Day', Ekspress' 'Centering', and DetriMENTAL's 'All
Over Again'.

...June 3, 2002...

Pop Trash's debut album, tentatively titled "TRACKING
CONTRADICTION", is set to be released August 2, 2002. This
album will include all the songs that appeared in the films
"ELECTION DAY", "LAST SEAT IN THE HOUSE", and "FLIGHT OF
AN ANGEL" as well as many more.

...May 20, 2002...

Elenerex Records seems to have found a winner in the band
Pop Trash. At the awards ceremony for the 2002 Windsong
International Film Festival, they were awarded the grand prize.
It was awarded for their work all over the festival. Pop Trash
had songs appear in three films at the festival.

...May 13, 2002...

The Windsong International Film Festival begins today. It will
run all through the week. Sunday will be the final day of
screenings.

...April 25, 2002...

Elenerex Records artist Pop Trash is beginning to make a name
for themselves. Along with the songs that appear on the
"ELECTION DAY" soundtrack, two other songs have been selected
to appear in two other films for Windsong Pictures. Their song
'Lost at Sea' will appear in the film "LAST SEAT IN THE HOUSE"
and their song 'Storm in a Bottle' will appear in the film "FLIGHT
OF AN ANGEL". Those films will also appear at the 2002
Windsong International Film Festival with the Meeker & Co.
Productions film "ELECTION DAY".

...April 7, 2002...

Now we have some more news on the "ELECTION DAY" soundtrack.
Pop Trash has three songs appearing in the film; Ekspress,
Kevin Rowe, and the Joey O. Band all have two; and DetriMENTAL
has one. As far as the official marketable soundtrack goes,
it is still undetermined which songs will be used.

...March 20, 2002...

Meeker & Co. Production's "ELECTION DAY : a McBride Brothers
Mock-u-mentary" began its film festival run today as it was
entered and accepted at the Windsong International Film Festival.
The film festival will take place in mid-May.

...February 26, 2002...

There hasn't been a great deal going on for Elenerex Records.
The only real news update is that Pop Trash will be recording
and releasing their debut album. They have been recording demos
since July 2001. Now the official recording will begin. Elenerex
Records is looking at a late summer release. No official date
has been set.

...January 7, 2002...

The Joey O. Band has agreed to allow two of their songs to
appear on the "ELECTION DAY : a McBride Brothers
Mock-u-mentary". It is a limited agreement, though, for they will
not allow their songs to be released on a compilation album (i.e.
a soundtrack for the film).

...December 30, 2001...

Heres some news: three more artists/bands have signed on to
appear on the Election Day soundtrack. They are Ekspress,
Kevin Rowe, and DetriMENTAL. Both Ekspress and Kevin Rowe
have discussed the possibility of signing record deals. However
no agreement has been released. Check out the artists page
to learn more.

...December 15, 2001...

Pop Trash has 'officially' signed with Elenerex Records. They
will be writing and performing the theme song for the Meeker &
Co. Production, and the McBride Brothers sketch comedy
troupe's first feature film, "ELECTION DAY : a McBride Brothers
Mock-u-mentary". Elenerex is in talks with other artists to
appear on the soundtrack. Remember to check out the
submission policies on the home page.

...November 30, 2001...

Elenerex Records officially becomes a division of Meeker & Co.
Productions. It is the music branch of the entertainment
company. As of right now, there is one artist in talks with
Elenerex Records and may sign soon. There is another group
that may begin talks very soon. No names will be released,
however, at this time.
